What is TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy)? TF-CBT is an evidence-based treatment designed to help children and adolescents between the ages of 3-18 cope with symptoms related to trauma. Children and care givers find relief by learning effective coping skills to help manage unpleasant thoughts and feelings related to the trauma with the goal of gradually working through memories of traumatic event(s).
